Letters

This is a list of the Society's general correspondence dating back to the 1820s, consisting mainly of letters written to the officers or the assistant secretary. The list is ordered by name of correspondent. An entry such as '82,6' indicates that there are six letters from the correspondent in 1882. Please note that correspondence is contained in other parts of the RAS Archives and Manuscripts collection (see for example the index to the correspondence of William Herschel).
