We are delighted to welcome visitors to the Royal Astronomical Society during the Open House festival. We will be open all day on Saturday 17th September for pre-booked guided tours and children's activities, and will also be offering a number of week-day lunchtime tours during the festival period.

Visit our library, see the results of the bicentenary quilt project and specially commissioned banners to commemorate the history of the oldest astronomical society in the world, and experience an audio-visual installation inspired by the work of Caroline Herschel. This is a collaborative piece created by Lynda Laird, Phil Tomsett and Annie Needham, and supported by Arts Council England.
